Charlie Kaufman, who worked on the likes of Being John Malkovich and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, has reportedly been helping “polish” the script for the sequel to the 2008 animated film Kung Fu Panda.
He’s not done animation before but that doesn’t mean he won’t be resourceful – his list of films makes for good reading.
Titled “Kung Fu Panda: Kaboom of Doom”, the film should see Po, Shifu and the Furious Five fighting against a new evil power that could destroy the world. Jack Black, Angelina Jolie and Dustin Hoffman amongst an all-star are set to return for the voices.
The film is set for release in June next year.
