In today’s boring investor call, EA announced some things about some games.  I have scoured the info and removed the financial figures (of which there were bloody loads) to bring you only the purest gaming news, because nobody gives a shit about decreased Q3 deficits.

The big news from the release list is a previously unannounced Dragon Age game, the extended development period for Dead Space 2, a new shooter from Epic Games rumoured to be called “Bulletstorm” and the Sims 3 for consoles.

Tonnes of post-launch support has again been promised for Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age including new armour and weapons for Mass Effect 2 TOMORROW.

While digging for info on today’s investor call I also stumbled upon the screens of Crysis 2 below, it’s set in New York and looks predictably pretty.  They are scanned from a German PC magazine, so if your Deutsch is up to snuff, you might get more out of them than I, one image in there looks a lot like a cover system.

  1. Awesome post. :)
Also, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 out in April-June? At this rate we’ll be seeing TWPGA 13 in 2011…

The most interesting thing on that article is “CRYSIS 2 (CONSOLE)”. Should have put it in capitals like I did because that is going to be awesome. :P

The one I’m most excited about is the new sims. FML.
